ABOUT

"Never design something that you would not wear yourself" is a quote from one of my early mentors which has always stuck with me throughout my design career.

My designs are atmospheric, based on beautiful colour, imagery and scenes. My work experience has taken my design work on a journey through creating beautiful canvases to turning them into commercial designs.

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2011 with a degree in Textile Design. A few months later I gained a freelance position at Cast Creations in Nottingham as their first print designer, my first design group sold to fashion house DKNY.

After a year in 2013, I moved to London to intern for new studio Ink Studio London (now Canvas London). My work was fresh and very different from the other girls in the studio, digitally created, bright tropical abstracts and elegant scenes which attracted the interest of buyers. I started selling work quickly, impressing the management so I moved into a freelance role.

Later that year I was offered a full time position at Made In Brighton Studio Bristol, as their first in-house print designer. I made this role my own and began selling to a number of worldwide clients such as Victoria's Secret, Nicole Miller and Clavin Klein.

After a year I began freelancing for Copenhagen based design studio Fusion, which introduced me into European trends and new ways of working.

I have taken time off to travel the world to draw inspiration from my surroundings and collecting a databased of imagery including natural fauna, botanicals and exotic colour palettes.

Past buyers include: Topshop, Jigsaw, DKNY, Calvin Klein, BCBG, Calvin Klein, Urban Outfitters, Aeropostale, NafNaf, Portmans, Macy's, Nordstrom, Marks & Spencer, Nicole Miller, Free People, Nike.

Collaborations include: Topman, Hype, Lovespecs Charity, Dollar Bill Print, Young Ones Apparel.
